After a wonderful supper with my parents we decided to get a hotel room and stay the night so we could stop at Torrid in the mall and Spirit Leaf in town before hitting the road.

We are on the 97c now with a 3.5hr drive ahead of us before we get home to Mistress’s home. I checked the tires, pumped the gas and hopefully the traffic won’t be too horrible when we get closer to Vancouver.

I can definitely see weather taking a turn for the worse as we point ourselves back towards the coast. While we were leaving the rain was coming down in torrents, making me glad that so far we are out of any of the hurricanes paths.
